Fingerprint Mandate

As mandated by the Diocese of Orlando, all faculty, staff and volunteers of Holy Family Catholic School and every catholic school in the Diocese must be fingerprinted and submit information for background checks.  This includes anyone having any contact with our children such as computer moms, classroom helpers, and field trip chaperones.

Please be advised that fingerprinting and clearance must be completed before being permitted to volunteer.  The actual clearance process has been taking as long as 3-4 months.  Therefore, we strongly recommend that you complete the necessary requirements prior to this summer.  FBI clearance is good for 5 years. This fingerprint check must be done through Holy Family Catholic School or Holy Family Catholic Church.  In addition, you must complete the online Safety Training course at this link www.orlandodiocese.org/chancery/index.php.   Please print a copy showing completion prior to hitting the send button and submit to Parish office ATTN: EEC.  Login: Chancery    Password: gr8ful

Fingerprinting will be available at the Parish office Tuesdays by appointment and every Thursday 3:00 – 6:30 p.m.  (H.F.C.S. and the EEC will be closed for the summer.)  Please identify that you are being fingerprinted for EEC school volunteer purposes. It will be necessary to bring your driver’s license.  A fee of $36.00 will also be assessed for this background check.  Checks are payable to Holy Family Catholic Church.  You will be notified via a phone call from the parish office once the background check has been completed.  For further questions, please call the parish office at 407-876-2211.
